My turn? [He pauses thoughtfully.] I'm the God of Thunder, king of Asgard.

[His expression turns a bit wry.]

[Setsuna lets that process. Thanks to Loki, he had figured on the God of Thunder part.]

So...what happened to Asgard? You tell me that, I'll tell you about Heaven.

My sister. [He gives a shake of his head, lips twitching down into a frown.]

Our planet was destroyed... and those of us who left, we ran into some trouble along the way.

That...suuuucks. [Setsuna isn't sure what else to say the severity of such a thing. Despite his words being a little trite, the expression and tone he gives to Thor are sympathetic.]

Your brother is Loki. Who's your sister? [He's not so good with his Norse mythology.]

You'll have to tell me how you ran into more trouble after that. But as promised. [Setsuna takes another drink.] Heaven...is in the middle of a war against God. And if we don't take the bastard down, our entire universe will end up like Asgard. [Heavy sigh.] My reawakening as an angel started off the apocalypse, and God intends to take everyone out and start over again.

Hela. Her name was Hela. [He hadn't even known she exist... merely another lie his father had told him.]

Why would God want an apocalypse?

Hela. ...Hela? Hel? [Name? Checks out. Name sounds familiar. Sister? DOES NOT. He frowns at this. Japanese folklore is a little more important to his heritage, after all.]

[He hums for a split second, then Setsuna sighs.] Because the asshole decided we were all failures and sinners and starting over would be better. So he wants to wipe us all out. I'm supposed to stop him.

Our father confined her to Hel for a very long time.

[And she wasn't happy -- understandably, but it had caused a few issues.]

That's a heavy burden. Do you know how to stop him yet?

[failed_antichrist]

.... [Intense frown. Well, no wonder she wasn't happy!] What is it with gods confining their kids to fates they don't want?

[Setsuna nods his head to Thor, at first not wanting to voice the reality.] Yeah. I was about to kill him when I got pulled here. Which is why I'm worried I got killed by him before I could end that crap.

[stormbreaking]

You seem to be speaking from experience...

[He gives a nod though.] We will get you back soon with any luck. Lucifer can hardly keep us all here forever.

[failed_antichrist]

[Setsuna has to take a moment and drink before answering that.] Yeah. Our God turned my past life and her brother against each other. And forced our Lucifer into his role of rebelling against him. He sucks. [Another drink.]

I'm not leaving here without everyone else. [He reaches for Thor's hand - his bro-skills are overtly touchy-feely.] We're all getting out of here.

[stormbreaking]

She doesn't sound like a very pleasant god, no. [It makes him wonder for a moment why he's so willing to get close to Thor, given what he must know about him.]

Ah-- [He pauses before he turns his hand over in that touch, giving his hand a squeeze lightly.] Of course. We won't stay here.

[failed_antichrist]

He isn't a pleasant god...or it. [Setsuna sighs at that.] He's technically a computer. [That whole thing was still processing when he ended up in Hell.] My past life though, she was a woman. I think. She spent all of her lives after that wanting to be a man, and making me.

[Setsuna squeezes Thor's hand in return and nods.] None of us. I'm not leaving anyone behind.

[stormbreaking]

A computer? [His brows furrow.] Your god is a confusing one.

[Though he pauses at the touch.] No, none of us will be left behind. You're not in this alone, Setsuna.

[failed_antichrist]

And evil. And sadistic. [Long gulp of alcohol.] S'why I'm gonna kill him. It.

[Setsuna gives a nod, and tries to look more composed.] Yeah. Not alone. Neither are you.

[stormbreaking]

[He lets out a breath after a moment and shakes his head.]

We should find something-- lighter to speak of.

[Not of death or murder or insane gods. It's why they're here, isn't it? To distract themselves from the horrible things.]

[Setsuna laughs to that.]

You're right. It's not easy, considering. But maybe that's why it's so important. [He stares into his mug for a while, then gets another beer. Finally he turns back to Thor.]

So...Thor, you like animals?

[stormbreaking]

It isn't. [But they need it, perhaps.]

I do. [He gives a wry smile.] Snakes, especially. Do you?

Snakes.... SAW WHAT YOU DID THERE!

[failed_antichrist]

[Everyone probably does.]

I like all animals. But...I really like birds and rabbits the most. [A pause.] I think.

You think?

[He gives an amused look at that.]

You don't sound certain...

[failed_antichrist]

That's because I love all animals. [Warm smile.]

But I like the way rabbits will sit with you, and just patiently be pet for ages. And birds give back in song. [Might also have to do with the Garden of Eden....]

But you prefer the scaly ones?

[stormbreaking]

[He gives a soft laugh at that response.] I rarely dislike any animal.

[Although given his life, he doesn't particularly have time for one.]

I think they have their charm.

Nothing wrong with reptiles. They're pretty cool.

[Setsuna had never had a pet himself. He'd probably feel the same about time on his end.]

Snake Charmer.

Yeah, we can!

[stormbreaking]

[He huffs out a laugh.]

Snake Charmer? I only wish, I'm afraid.

Aiming in that direction

Tell you what. [Setsuna downs the rest of his mug as he gets up, then reaches over to slap a friendly hand on Thor's shoulder.]

If I figure out how to charm a snake, I'll let you know.

[And later, once he knew Loki turned into a snake, he might start wondering about the snake conversation. Maybe. If he was sober.]

If you bring me a pet that you've personally charmed, I may owe you one.

[He likes snakes apart from Loki as well, honestly... although Loki may be the one he's most fond of at the moment.]

Are you going to rest now?
